A working single Mom had one of our fire and security systems installed in her townhouse. She entrusted her home, five-year old son, and infant to the safety of our system and the care of a professional babysitter.
One afternoon, during naptime, the boy began playing with matches in his upstairs bedroom. The babysitter and infant were napping downstairs. He soon set his curtains ablaze and triggered the fire alarm. The alarm sounded, scaring the boy who ran downstairs, and our monitoring station notified the local Fire Company.
