We received a call one day from a client concerned about "false alarms" being registered by the carbon monoxide detector. "What should I do?" he asked. We suggested that he evacuate the building immediately. In the end, a portable CO meter was brought to the site and proved the accuracy of the CO reading. The building's heating and ductwork systems were leaking, apparently, and indoor CO percentages exceeded the limits programmed into the Securitech system.
